As you know, if you have read my previous entries, my son was taking away from me at his birth.
I had a good idea who was involved but that did not help me — they did not help me. I searched for help, anything that might help me find him. Way back then there was really nothing. I found a couple of books and an online birth child/parent connection registry that was just getting started. Then I could put my name if but if he didn’t there would be no connection.
There wasn’t.
Do try everything you can find out there to help you. Every single step you take will be a step in the right direction, no matter how many walls you may hit.
In your search write everything down.
Everything.
Buy a journal and keep a record of each step you take, each site you register with, every bit of information you receive. The journal(s) will become your life line. The journals will become your story.
I was thinking I would get rid of previous posts and start all over since I have jumped around so much but I decided not to because I think what you read may help you.
But now I am going to start again, back to where I think what I went through may help you. I want to help birth parents, and birth children, in the search. I want to help support, I want you to know you can succeed.
I also want to tell my story of finding my birth son and beyond. I hope my journey will help you.
