This time of year is very difficult.
If you have not found your birth child you wonder if ‘they’ are happy, if ‘they are loved, if ‘they’ will have a good Christmas.
Not knowing hurts.
If you have found your birth child, you wish that you could be part of their joy, you wish you could be part of the family. You wish you could be part of the holiday celebrations.
You know you will not be and it hurts.
This is a very difficult time for anyone who had a child taken away at birth. All I can offer in hopes of feeling better, during this difficult time, is close your eyes and send your love to your birth child, wish them happiness, and let the hurt go.
I know it’s hard. I know it’s hard.
Do something nice for yourself on this day. Buy some flowers, or chocolates, or go for a walk and look at the lights. Do something that will make you feel good on this very difficult day.
Big (((HUGS)) to all of you.
